Eastern Gate LieutenantOnly Mages (those w ho have enough INT orbs) can speak to the Crazy Hermit. You must complete Captain of the Guard Quest to access the Eastern area.

- Part 1: Head due East and a bit up from the gate and you will nearly run straight into small building with a man named Crazy Hermit. If you are having a hard time finding him the Sextant coordinates are X:963 , Y:125. He says that he has been studying ancient magic and wishes you to bring him 10 Skeletal Apprentice Skulls to continue his research. You will also find out that because of his studies he is responsible for the rise of the undead in this area.
- Part 2: You will have to kill Skeletal Apprentice until you loot 10 skulls. They have the ability to caste spells for alot of damage so be very careful and try to only take on 1 at a time. The best spot to find them is along the East coast, keep in mind not every Skeletal Apprentice will drop a skull. Return to the Crazy Hermit when you are finished. Receive 1 rune of your choice.
