You must have have part 1 of the Crypt of Lotor quest completed before you may enter the cave. The cave can be a dangerous place, easy to become overwhelmed. Tread carefully! The necklace is invaluable to most players, this is a hard quest but worth it. Each part may take a while so be prepared. It would be smart to finish the Crypt of Lotor quest at the same time.
TIP: Skin Salamanders to get special skins for crafting (req lvl 50 skinning)
- Location: New Korelith Cave Area
- Reward: Gem of the True Believer
- 'Boss: Medukala Stonegazer
- Part 1: Head to New Korelith and go into the cave, there you will find the Injured Digger. He will tell you to destroy 100 Egg Scavengers. They are mixed throughout the area, but the best spot is in the Balasik area deep within if you can handle it. Return to him when you are finished. Receive Experience
- Part 2: Next he will tell you to find his toe. You must kill Green Salamanders (only the Green ones count) until you get a quest update. Try to coordinate with part 2 of the Crypt of Lotor Quest. Return to him when you are finished. Receive Experience
- Part 3: Next he will ask you to bring him a Pristine Basilisk Tail. This part you will have to kill Basilisks (the regular, not the young) until you get a quest update. Basilisks are annoying to say the least. They have the ability to turn you to stone, temporarily rendering you immobilized, be sure to bring a friend with Potions of Stone Gaze to free yourself. Return to him when you are finished. Receive Experience.
- Part 4: You will need to click on him again to continue. Lastly he will ask you to kill Medukala Stonegazer, the Basilisk boss, and bring him his tail. Grab a couple of buddies and mages and take him down! He is located all the way into the cave by the door that leads to the Lotorian Crypt. Return to him when you are finished for your reward. Receive Gem of the True Believer.
